Is Petitioners Original Birth Certificate Required at Interview?

Hi,

 

My wife has her immigration interview at the US Consulate in Montreal on January 11, 2023. 

 

We are gathering our documents and its confusing on if we need my (petitioners) birth certificate at the interview. I'm a US citizen. When looking at the required documents list how do we know if this is applicable to us.

The US Citizen Petitioner's Birth Certificate is not needed for the interview.  It would have already been used at the petition stage as evidence of citizenship.
