Hey everyone,

I am applying for citizenship next month based on the 5 year rule. I have been previously married to a USC and we got a mutual divorce. I have a couple of questions and hope this community can direct me in the right path. I only have tax returns for the last 4 years since I didn't apply for 2022 yet so will that be a problem when filling? What documents should I include other than tax returns, divorce decree, and the payment? Any thoughts on how long the process takes for the Nashville office? Do I scan the documents and submit them online?

Thanks!

What about 2017 return?

You probably need both marriage certificate and divorce decree for your marriage to USC.

Yes.

When your 2022 tax transcript is available, submit it if haven’t had your interview scheduled by then. Otherwise bring it with you to interview isn’t it have it.
