Good day, all!

We are wanting to change the country of interview, but I don’t know if we can or how we can. My beneficiary is Venezuelan. We started with Costa Rica because that’s my native country and originally they didn’t require Visas for Venezuelans.  However, now they do and there has been a huge delay in approval of visas. I am afraid she might lose her meeting with USCIS in Costa Rica because she is getting approved in time to enter Costa Rica. Please help 🙏🏼

If you are still waiting for NOA2, then your I-129F is still at USCIS Service Center.

Contact your USCIS Service Center about updating the K1 interview consulate.

Venezuela has a protected status at the moment. You may be able to use more than one way to get your special other in the US.

Please check Process for Venezuelans | USCIS for more.

Thank you for the quick response!

I will reach out to them soon to see request a change.

What if I went with the option of requesting her because she is of Venezuelan descent; would I need to cancel our I-129F? Which I obviously don’t want to because we are in it since April of this year.
