My wife had her interview yesterday and verbal approval was provided along with the form N-652 with the same results. It’s been more than 24 hours and the case status online is still stuck on ‘Interview was scheduled’. For folks who have interviewed in San Jose, does this office take a while to update the case statuses online?

I interviewed for N-400 in San Jose.   My case update after interview  took several weeks.

Several weeks after the interview I received  dozens of back to back text messages. By the end of the that day it was clear I was going to be mailed  an oath appointment letter.

Thanks Mike!

Were you approved right after the interview as well? How long after your interview date did you end up taking the oath?

4-6 weeks later, in Campbell.

My wife's interview at the San Jose location was on June 8th.  The IO indicated that she passed.  Her USCIS status remained as "Interview was scheduled" July 20th, when it was changed to "Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled".
Question:  Anyone know when the oath ceremony can be expected?

Hard to predict any dates but at least your case had some update. Is there a name change involved for your wife?

No name change.

I see….

My wife interviewed on 7/20, the IO told her that she will most likely be scheduled for oath by mid-Aug. However, looking at other peoples timelines, oaths are happing 5-6 six weeks after interviews.

I have a feeling you’ll hear back by this week or next.
