N400 Application for my Wife- US Citizenship

My wife is planning to apply for the N400 soon. She's been in the US for 3 years and 6 months now and got the 2 year Green card. I'm a US citizen (for 12 years), and she's been married to me for almost 5 years.

So since she's eligible to apply for US citizenship (3 year resident), my question is how do you answer those 5 year questions. the ones that ask "in the past 5 years how many trips have you taken outside US?"

She's mainly been here only 3.5 years, so do you answer it based on the last 3 years? (Btw my wife has not taken any trips out of the US since she got here in Nov 2018).

Simple..just put the trips she's been to, even though she's only been here 3.5 years

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Well before 3.5 yrs, she was in India. And didn't take any specific trips in that 1.5 yr time frame (except living in India).
