My expedite request for NVC was approved today prior to being DQ. They said they would send it directly to the embassy. Will the embassy schedule my interview? How do I apply for an expedite at the embassy? Do I schedule myself and then request an emergency appointment, or email the embassy to request it? Thank you for any advice.

It varies by Consulate.  I would contact the consulate to request an expedite and ask for instructions (under normal circumstances, NVC would have scheduled your interview).

I don't think NVC schedules interviews. The embassy does.

Once they send it to the embassy, the embassy will send u a Packet 4 email. If they don't automatically give a date for interview in that email, u need to create an account on the USTravelDocs website to pick ur date faster. U can only check for appt twice per day. If the Petitioner is in the US, they can call numerous times at +1 703-520-2575. My husband kept checking the website for 9 days with no luck. I called every 15 minutes on one day and got us an interview date

It's an email sent to you from the Embassy telling you what the next steps will be. It's called Packet 4

Hi can you please explain conditions the expedited request was submitted under? We’ve been trying to expedite my husband application and have been rejected more than once. Thanks

I expedited for medical reasons. However, I was denied 5 times before I researched how to submit it.

I have an emergency medical condition as well as an extreme emotional hardship in our family. The details are too personal to share on that one.

Write ur expedite letter in a word document and save it as a pdf. Then copy and paste the same letter into the body of ur email. Attach the pdf to the email. Attach ur other supporting documents as a pdf also but label them according when u save them. Make sure the case number is in the subject line. Your email first paragraph should give a little history on ur case. Second paragraph should e plain ur emergency and y u need him to be expedited. Focus more on ur needs not the beneficiary.

I waited for denial before submitting a new request with more information, but that doesn't mean it has to be done that way. They do ask that you not submit duplicates.
