Proof of address ?

Hi all ,

1 week now ,things start moving slowly 

Spoke to few banks to open new account ,chase agree to open without SSN but they need proof of address .

As living with family currently ,what's the quickest way which can help to get proof of address ?

 

Otherwise have to wait till get SsN post ,I believe that's the first post you will get ,right ?

send postcard to ur address, and address it to you

ask ur family / spouse to add you on their credit card as authorized user and ask the bank to give the verification letter so you can use the letter as proof of address

try bank of america, sometimes they required only passport

BoA are a good option. I visited Chase twice without success. 15 minutes after walking into BoA I had an account.

Have your name added to spouse's credit card, be added to car insurance policy and use updated proof of insurance.

  • 20 Jan 2022: Passport with visa collected in person
  • 14 Feb 2022: Enter USA via Dulles, airport
  • 29 Apr 2022: Green Card received in Post
