Hello!

Should I submit my daughters court ordered custody papers onto ceac for the NVC? Or just bring them to the interview in case asked? Has anyone had any experience with this bringing their kids to the US and what the consulate needed?

Bring them to the interview. They will want to see them in person anyways.

We were a K1 and K2's and had a court order to allow the move. My lawyer did not trust my ex to pull a fast one and he calls the border and stops the kids from crossing. When we went to Montreal they were happy it was more than a letter.

Thank you. I’ll just wait and bring it to the consulate. I do have primary care and control , however I am going to see my lawyer this week to see if I can get a court order as well for the move, for the same reasons. Can’t trust the ex!

Ya mine was shady and even though I did have full custody all it would have took was a call to the border and they would have stopped me. Good luck.
