Hi all!

just wanted to create this to see your experience with ds-5535/administrative processing. We are coming up on 6 months now. I’m assuming our medical will end up expiring and we will have to do another. Been pretty sad lately waiting, it’s already been a very long process for us….. but just wanted to hear from others. Best wishes to all!

yes,  the medical will need to be redone as a visa is based on the medical exam which expires after 6 months

please when all of this is done, write a embassy review and post us here to tell us the full story (length of time,  issues,  anything u found out)

and best to u both

I really wish we were able to get an actual answer or estimate. Where are you looking for your updates? I usually look on the nvc website but someone from the actual embassy told us we can we the updates on the embassy’s page. The nvc hasn’t updated since march. The one from the embassy updates daily/weekly for us.

The frequency probably means nothing but it still feels good to know there is some sort of update.

Hi hannah711, I’ve been checking on NVC website. Ok, thanks for sharing, I’ll check the embassy website as well. Yes, it will be nice to get some sort of update at least every week
