I-485 AOS Inspection and Admission Evidence

I’m (US Citizen) preparing my moms package for AOS and getting the evidence needed but I have a question in the i-485 instructions says:

4. Inspection and Admission or Inspection and Parole
This evidence must relate to your most recent arrival into the United States. Submit copies of the following documents, if available:

A. Passport page with admission or parole stamp (issued by a U.S. immigration officer);

B. Passport page with nonimmigrant visa; and

C. Form I-94 Arrival-Departure Record (See Form I-94 Arrival-Departure Record in the General Instructions section of these Instructions).

Unfortunately my mom lost her passport with her visitor visa 10 years ago and we don’t have that information but the good news is she still has the physical I-94 Arrival-Departure Record that shows her name, date she got admitted, seal, where she got admitted and the visa class she was admited.

The I-94 is enough evidence to prove she was inspected/admitted by an immigration officer?

Any help and information will be appreciated.

I would think it's enough,  since you have the I-94 record/number. you should explain in the section for additional information the circumstances. Any copies/photocopies of the old passport / VISA?  (i submitted both my parents' packets in December)

did your mom arrive in the US more than 10 years ago? if not you may also be able to get a record from CBP I-94 website. what visa did she arrive on?

This is a bit different, but i went through AOS process myself without the original physical I-94 record (lost it), but was able to use the original passport/visa with admission stamp

Thank you for your kid reply

We sent her package with the copy of the physical I-94 Record number, I told our lawyer about wanting to add in additional information the circumstances they advice not still think would it be better if we did, unfortunately her passport with her visa got lost and she don't have any information of the document  just the passport number by itself

there's not record in the website because she arrived more than 10 years ago, She arrived in a tourist visa B2.

The package was received on May 02 2022

Last case update was on June 09, 2022

Case is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS so finger crossed

Good luck on your case
