Hi everyone,

 

I am petitioning for my wife's mother and was filling out the form online.  However, I do not see any area or question to upload the 2x2 picture.  I checked 5 times and I do not see it.  Can somebody please advise?

Did it take you all the way to submit button before asking for PP photos? Just keep filling it as it asks, at some point it will ask you to upload the PP photos.

Do you mean that your USC wife is petitioning for her mother, and you are helping her file the form?  There is no petitioning for mother-in-law.

Yes indeed.  When I mean me I really mean "us" 😅   But yes to be technical, yes my wife is petitioning for her mother.

So I just went to the website and created a NEW I-130 and sure enough if i choose the option for spouse, then it gives the question for  2x2 photos for both the petitioner and the beneficiary.  However, if I choose parent, it does not have the question / section at all for 2x2 photos.  It is crazy.

yes I did and checked now 10 times.  This seems to only be when I choose "parent" instead of "spouse" as the one I am petitioning for.

That means PP photos are needed for spousal petition only not for other family petitions. So don't worry.
