Our CR1 case is in NVC right now. Here's a quick timeline. Just want to run this by you folks to alleviate any concern.

Jan 21st, 2022 - Submitted all NVC docs starting the timer

Jan 24th - Tax season started

Jan 29th - Filed 2021 taxes

April 15th - Tax deadline

April 18-26 - anticipated window of time we'll get DQ'd

We submitted our 2021 W-2 because I had that at the time, but not our 2021 tax transcript because we could not file yet. We do have our 2021 tax transcript now. On our I-864EZ, where it asks for income for the most recent 3 tax years, I listed 2020, 2019, and 2018.

Logic dictates we will not have any problems because it would have been impossible to provide our 2021 tax transcript at the time we filed, and we will be asked to provide it at the interview instead. But NVC is not perfect and I wonder whether we are running a risk of being asked for our 2021 tax info regardless. Our case would be one of the first with no 2021 taxes uploaded to be reviewed after the tax deadline. Do we run any risk of receiving an RFE instead of a DQ? Is it worth someone in this scenario trying to upload 2021 tax info in the 'Other' category since it is said that will not reset the timer?
