Hello everyone.

I am a US citizen.
Applied for my brother back in 2007. His priority date is 31/07/2007. We have submitted all the necessary documents and the case was documentarily qualified on 04/23/2021

I know that everything has been slowed due to the COVID but does anyone know when we may get the interview notice?

Thanks

Thanks

I was thinking that those date meant that the case is eligible to start collecting and submitting documents and that after the documents are approved, the case is sent by NVC to the consulate to schedule the interview.

There are two tables on the visa bulletin.

The first table is when the PD becomes current - that is, there is a visa allotment available for those with PD dates on or before the dates shown.

The second table are the dates for when ppl can start submitting their documents to the NVC.  These dates are about a year sooner than the dates in the first table.

For your brother, he has to wait until the dates the the F4 table is at 31JUL07.  Right now that is about 4 months away (give or take a month)

EDIT:. Except for India, Mexico and Philippines.
