The were so many times that I was impatient and angry about this whole visa process. All the unfairness during the process that we experienced. Being so depressed when I would see others

being approved while I was sitting and waiting. But it just goes to show you there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel if we have the patience to get there. I started my relationship with my now husband in february 2005 and wasn't able to file for k-1 until March 2006. It seemed like it took forever even though it didn't. Finally, he had his interview and they said next week you will get the visa and finally after two weeks he got the call. Fouad arrived in the states in November 2006, we married in December 2006 and couldn't file the papers for AOS until late february 2007, then through the request for more information (co-sponsor) more waiting, then the letter the case was transferred to California... I thought oh no not again and how long before an interview then one day about a week ago We come home from work and there is a letter in the mail; my first thought was oh no what now; then as I felt the enevlope there seemed as if there was a card in it. I opened it and there was his green card no interview or change it status of our case. How thrilled I was, finally after all the disappointments we get a little nudge that people got while I was waiting. I guess the point to this whole story, lol, is Don't get discouraged that day will come for you or your loved one. Just be patient and believe what's meant to be is meant to be.

Good Luck to all those waiting to hear some news may your cases be more speedy.

Alhamdulilah,

Cheryl
