When did you get your NOA2?

It took a month for USCIS to forward our petition to NVC....they send them in a covered wagon.

we sent our 129 f july 26 and NOA1 was august 6,2007

then we got an RFE last DEC 20

we sent our RFE reply jan.15,2008

currently we are waiting for NOA2

Our RFE was for further evidence of a relationship and they also wanted divorce decrees. They already had them but because they were not signed by a judge or a court authority, they requested them again. They received our evidence on the 28th of December, but we are still waiting.

I haven't gotten my NOA2 yet. I called the NVC to see if they have received my package from CSC and if CSC simply didn't send the NOA2 or post my approval or send my e-mail (like has happened to a few here).

I got my NOA1 181 days ago which is 40 days longer than most of the rest of the July filers. I do realize that I filed at the end of the month and all but avg. processing times are avg. processing times and for them to all-of-a-sudden start taking 28% longer to process is BS

Oh and please stop telling me to update my timeline okay... it's up-to-date. Heaven forbid that I contribute to bad data on here by keeping my timeline out-of-date.

I wish I could say/do something... I just don't understand whyu CSC are so ####### right now - moreso than they have been I mean Even though I have my NOA2 I still look at these Sept/Oct VSC approvees and feel a bit bitter, saying gratzies through gritted teeth... I mean I am happy for them but there is still part of me that feels like they can't know how hard it is to wait, they can't appreciate it as much as us July-ers will... Of course that is unfair and unfounded but it just kinda creeps up and gnaws at me

I have high hopes for CSC - It sounds horrible but the fact that the late-July-er seem to be caught up at CSC for so long suggests to me that once CSC get their @$$£$ in gear again, there will be a flurry of July approvals - I just never thought it would be this bad - I wish I could swap with someone

This might be a stupid question, but did you do the RFE trick yet?

Sorry to hear that you have not got you NOA2 yet. I guess it was wishful thinking, my assuming that your calling NVC meant that you had. Hopefully you will be out of USCIS hell soon. The first piece of mail that I have got, during this entire process, has been from NVC... at least they seem to be on the ball and if they get it they do notify you promptly.

Oh grr - I can never remember all the numbers to press but if you look for mox under members then view his signature - he has instructions in there

Also I have added the spreadsheet link to my siggie but not sure it works - let me know if you have trouble with it and I will figure it out when I get home

Let me know how you get on with the RFE trick thing It's just a more reliable way of speaking to someone at CSC

Okay, I don't like the RFE Trick AT ALL!!!

I went through the prompts and after entering my case number I get:

"You need to submit the evidence that was requested. If you believe that you have already submitted the requested evidence please note that in your written response to the office. If you don't understand what you need to submit... press 1 to speak with a representative"

So after getting to someone (Scott #100LM) he says that he doesn't see an RFE and that my case is pending. He asks how I found that there was an RFE and I tell him. He says - let me transfer you to an immigration officer and maybe they can look deeper.

So I get to the next person (accent so think I can't understand the name) and explain that the automated "check the status of a pending application" phone system says that they are waiting for evidence and he puts me on hold for a few minutes. When he comes back he says there's no RFE but that my case is still pending a decision.

I have the same problem. Nick is 2 inches taller than me but works out and can eat anything without putting on a pound. It's not fair. I'm so worried that I won't fit into my dress. I've been told that all brides lose a few pounds in the weeks before the wedding due to the stress. Add to that the stress we face of USCIS and moving and I should be super skinny by my wedding date.
