We sent our papers July 16, and our NOA1 Jul 27, till now NO NOA2 yet, got a touch from immigration asking RFE, and was sent yesterday......hope it will move faster.....the waiting is so hard....

helo rick's baby if u don't mind i just wanna asked what RFE stands for since my fiance was not asked with it yet but he sent our K1 last Aug. '2007, .. .

As i understand RFE stands for request for evidence? - my fiance was asked to send a copy of the car wrecked case he had last 1987 from the courthouse that the case is closed. I don't know if that paper will move our papers faster....

Haha - yes well the new thread is very open to everyone here whatever stage of the process - it just means that when we are all veterans we can have somewhere else to chat - we'll have our own AOS threads and kinda go our separate ways in terms of the actual process so it will be nice to have somewhere to keep up to date, arrange meet-ups etc

Gratzies on the packet 3 STP!! Jeremy phoned today to get our LON# and confirmed that it was indeed sent out yesterday - so the packet I have been tracking appears to be, if not the one, then potentially in the same shipment - yippee!! If I can get packet 3 before I fly out next month then that would be awesome

Yes, We are in the Sherman Oaks section of Los Angeles. I am not hip to what a FFVIII avvie is. Lemme know!

Hey you guys! We filed at the end of June and it was received on July second (Can we be down?). We are waiting to get our packet from Naples. Currently I am sitting in my fiance's living room outside of Venice Italy going bananas because it seems we should have gotten something by now and from what I've read on these forums the folks at the Naples embassy are on a slow roll, Yikes! Any advice as to how we can at least get info from them about if they've received the Approval from NVC (which was mailed to them on DEC 14th) without calling their 1.50 Euro a minute hotline? I know how long I have had to wait in cue in the states and the thought of racking up a bill in Euros is...well...bananas.

Yes, I believe you can call the Department of State 202-663-1225 x1 x0. I used Skype to call fom the UK.
