Jeraly!!! You two are going to be approved tomorrow, I just know it!! It *is* fate, right when Jeremy gets there. See, these past few weeks, deep down, you knew what you were waiting for! All those times you said you thought it was waiting and waiting for him to get there so you could celebrate together.

I'm so happy for you guys! You have every reason to be excited even though it's "just" a touch.

I think tomorrow we'll all be reading your approved post.

This is very frustrating, in the Aug thread people who applied in mid August are getting approvals.. seems like no one even touched my file!

They haven't touched ours either!! Any day.....

Ok so it isn't an approval (I remembered to check the actual status and not just the date) but that is just soooo amazing that something has finally happened as Jeremy is on the last leg of his journey here!!! It has to be fate, it has to be!! I am shaking like a leaf because I just didn't think anything was going to happen for ages!! I even refreshed just after 5pm PST and there was nothing - I thought I would again just for the hell of it as the flight tracker hasn't updated yet to show Jeremy in the air and the date changed to 12/17/07!!!!

WooooohoooooOO!!!! Ok - maybe I am overreacting - of course we still have the RFE option but at least we know someone has picked the damn thing up!!!

I am *so* happy

Stop thinking that much and enjoy your TOUCH .I just woke up and saw the news. In a couple of days you`ll be dancing with the rest of us . I`m really happy for you!!!!

I called NVC and DOS last night. they both told me that they got notice that it will take anywhere between 30 and 120 days for our petition to arrive at NVC.

*shrugs* i will call them friday again, though.

I was reading about your touch and decided to check, I just got a touch today too! We also have the same NOA1, and are both at the CSC (or at least that's what I gathered?), so perhaps this is a very good sign for both of us?

I am sure it means good things for us both (but am remaining quietly skeptical for myself - seems too good to be true!) but It will help us all!!!

Hve checked at various times through the night just in case! Am prolly going to be as tired as Jeremy when he arrives!! Apparently his plane left an hour late but is arriving 20 mins early?! Very odd - will just have to wait and see if I get a call I guess

Eric and his parents + grandma will arrive tomorrow. inbetween christmas, ceremony and newyears I won't be able to visit VJ very often, but I'll keep you updated about our process

Yeah - I have a few hours before I have to pick up Jeremy - I am still trying to think how I will tell him about the touch!!! I'm kinda hoping we get the approval with the middle-of-the-nigh updates but I am not expecting it - that would be too much to ask for surely?!?! Of course I am going to want to sit refreshing the USCIS page over and over but I won't be able to with Jeremy here so maybe that is a good thing!!

I am sooooo excited! Jeremy is going to be here in... just over five hours!!! And in an hour and a half I get to go and be stabbed repeatedly by the nurse!! Yay!!

Hi There! We almost have same dates of filing. My fiance filed it late June 2007 and received notification July 2, 2007 but per USCIS acknowledged it July 10. First touch is July 14. It has been 160 days already. Do you think our papers have been incurring problems? Ave days for processing if you will look at California Service Center charts is only about 130 days. We are already way past the average. What do you think? Please keep me posted as to developments on your documents. Thanks and God bless!!!!

There are still people from June that are waiting so I don't think you have too much to worry about - I've been waiting about 150 days and only got my first touch yesterday. It might be worth a call to the service centre you sent your petition to and because it helps us all!! You can ask them if your petition has been assigned to an officer or not yet and they might be able to help you although from what I have heard they aren't too helpful so it might take a few calls before you get someone worth talking to

@jeraly: so happy for you! i was so excited when eric arrived last month, and every weekend when we pick each other up from the trainstation (he currently works at the opposite end of germany) i nearly get a heartattack

i will have the pneumoccal shot tonite.

everything else is up to date, due to my J1 visa 2 years ago.

this whole wedding-planning-immigration-christmas-thing is driving me insane.

i wish i had a bunch of bridesmaids as slaves to do the work.

LMAO - seriously! Bridesmaids are more hassle than they are worth!! Of the three I have only one of them is worth her weight in gold!!! And even she can be hard to pin down from time to time!!

for a total of 8 weeks. we are very fortunate that his job allows him to travel to germany so much. but the weekend thing is worse than the 3-month thing. i can stand not seeing him for 3 months, but all the goodbyes every sunday are really hard on me. crazy, isn't it?

how long will jeremy be in the UK?
