Hi, we became documentarily qualified in September. Anybody know where the US Embassy/Consulate Lagos is on their backlog?

About a month ago, someone mentioned that they were interviewing those who DQed October/November 2020, the stats for IR1/CR1 shows that there was little movement for the months of August and September, about 72 combined for both months. October stats are not yet out. Focus seen to be on student (279) and tourist visas (1838).

Based on this info I think you are likely almost a year away from getting an interview date unless there is a surge in processing.

My children and I are DQ’d in different month. Please do you think we can be interviewed the same day any of us gets an interview date , or we will be given different days for interviews?

Also my son was the first to be DQ in January 2021, when is he likely to get a date ?

Thank you 🙏

Currently it seems people are getting IL a year after they are DQ. You'd need to contact the embassy to see if you all can be interviewed together when the time comes.
