Covid vaccine requirement

I read that as of Oct 1st there is a requirement for green card applicants to have a Covid vaccination.

I will be renewing my green card in a few months, will I need to have the vaccination to remain in the country? I will not take the vaccination because of my religious convictions.

If your card is a 2-year GC then the process is called Removal of Conditions (Form I-751). If it's a regular 10-year GC then you'll file Form I-90. Which one is it?

 

For both of these processes there is not a medical involved.

For the green card, you do have to show you've complied with the vaccination requirements, or qualified for a waiver.  That's the  reason you have to provide an I-693 if the DS-3025 is not marked "complete".  The Covid vaccine will be added to that list on October 1. Religious belief is one of the qualifying waivers.

Sorry, I just realized you mean the 10 year green card. I missed that the first time I read it.
