I-129F Approved but online status was never updated

I've seen a lot of messages about the problem at the CSC where their I-129F shows approved online, but they never get the NOA2 in the mail. The opposite has happened to me. My status still shows Pending online, but I recieved the NOA2 in the mail today dated 6/29. The file was touched several times last week, but it still shows pending. I'm going to call the NVC on Monday and see if they received it.

If I wasn't so happy about the approval I'd be calling the USCIS to complain!!!

Traveled to stay with Ryan until we get the approval 13-09-2007 to 24-10-2007

I-129F NOA2 (Approved) : 27-09-2007

Package Received By NVC : 04-10-2007

Package Left From NVC : 08-10-2007

Received By Consulate : 12-10-2007

Rec Instructions (Pkt 3) : 15-10-2007

Medical : 26-10-2007

Interview scheduled for: 26-11-2007 Approved

Flaying back to be with my man this time for good 30-11-2007

Congratulations!!!! A very happy day!

We waited over a year for our NOA2 and when I finally got wind that the I129F petition was approved I was overwhelmed...even with tears. This is such an exhausting and stressful process (as least for me) that with each step forward, seems you've just conquered a mountain. My fiance rec'd his packet 3 before our NOA2 date....seems a little screwy to me, eh?

Least you got the important part (NOA2 in the mail) since you will need it at a later date. Hoping for a quick interview date for you....

Aug. 2001 - met online playing trivia

May 2006 - engaged

06-12-06 - Met with lawyer, filed for a K-1 visa

07-17-06 - NOA1

10-31-06 - Touched

01-29-07 - Found out from USCIS that my lawyer had filed at the wrong service center and nothing has been processed.

02-08-07 - Found out that our petition had been closed back in Oct. 2006. No one was ever notified of this from USCIS

02-09-07 - Began gathering paperwork once again to start all over. Started cancelling our wedding plans

02-20-07 - Filed for a K-1 visa once again

02-27-07 - NOA1

04-21-07 - Originally planned wedding date (had to cancel) :(

05-22-07 - Touched

06-01-07 - Granted a Congressional Inquiry!

06-15-07 - NVC received our approved I-129F petition (I never received an NOA2 via email or snail mail). We are just so HAPPY to finally move on!

06-25-07 - Packet 3 received (but it was rec'd by our lawyer, she has forwarded it on to my fiance in Australia)

06-28-07 - Fiance rec'd Packet 3

06-30-07 - Finally rec'd NOA2 via snail mail. It is dated June 25, same day as Packet 3 was rec'd.

07-05-07 - Mailed back form letter DSL-1076 (Applicant's Statement of Readiness to be Interviewed).

07-05-07 - Just waiting now in hopes of an interview date before APEC

07-13-07 - Received Packet 4

07-30-07 - Interview!!!! - APPROVED!

09-01-07 - Fiance arrives in the USA!

10-06-07 - Getting Married

what was the hold-up? any ideas why it took that long?

my fiance is about to send off our I-129F, so we've still got most of the journey ahead of us... but I've got 6 - 8 months (ie start to finish) in my head, not 12 or more :s

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

It was her lawyer who F***ed it up... Send it to the correct place and you're doing better than the stupid lawyer did for them!

I've been reading in the AOS forum that people are receiving transfers and interview dates without an update on-line. Gives us hope, right?

11/2004 - Met in Brazil

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil
