I have been informed from the USCIS that my wife will have a biometric appointment soon and I was wondering if it necessary to change the name in her passport. As of today, her passport shows her last name while her AOS, employment authorization, and travel documents show her married last name. Does anyone know if this going to be an issue?

Thanks!

Thanks!

Take passport and marriage certificate for biometrics.

She can change her name on her passport whenever she wants, it's not required for AOS.

It's not required.  My wife can't renew her passport until it's comes close to expiring.
