Medical is done  you can have your medical anytime before, but you must arrive in the USA within 6 months of that medical being completed.

I thought you can only do it once you get interview invite. So what happened with your results? Did they send them to the embassy even tho your case was still with nvc at the time or what?

I cant even make the interview, called medical and latest appointment is 4 days after my interview date and on top of that I need my 2nd vaccination shot. Hopefully there's no long waiting times for interview appointments.

Yup. Earliest appointment for a medical is the 14th, but the VisaMedical want at least 5 days between the medical and the appointment. So my excitement is tempered until i can get a new interview date i guess....

You can go to the interview and have medical after people are doing that at the moment. Also you can get your second Covid jab at the medical.

Nhs says 8 weeks apart, in usa they do it after 21 days. It's a joke.

I have read of people doing that, but it doesn’t appear that this is detailed anywhere in any official source.

Pfizer jab is 3 weeks in US. Moderna is 4 weeks. NHS has spread them out from the beginning to get more shots in arms with the supply they had instead of holding back some supply for second shots.  I wonder if the visa clinic even gives Covid immunisations. It’s not listed on their website. I think you are likely stuck with the NHS protocols that are in place. You might email the visa clinic and clarify.

For anyone who is interested, the VisaMedical guys are opening at 8.10am to try and squeeze extra appointments in.
