Hi everybody.

I just wanna know from those married to moroccans.if they have had problems with the mail.honestly I'm moroccan and I don't think there is any post office slower than the Moroccan post office.I've been waiting for the packet 3 since june the 11th and hasn't recieved it.and what makes it cooler is when the NVC sent me the packet 2 chioce of agent and adress the mail man took it to the wrong adress like 3 blocks away and because I'm so lucky the owners of that house didn't bring it to me at that time cuz they wasn't home for more than 2 weeks.so I'm just wondering if other ppl have had problems like this whith the great Moroccan post office and I'm wondering how long it takes to get papers from the NVC after they mail them.

We just receive a birth certificate sent from Morocco over 2 months ago. And I wont even talk about the express package I mailed that took 3 weeks to arrive last December! :crying:

Even though the packet has not been received by you, you or your SO can email the consulate to find the interview date. The forms are all available online and in our Casa thread we have posted the instructions letter and list of doctors for the medical. The papers in the packet are not important, the date of the interview is. Oh but you will need the letter in teh packet to bring for your appointment.

Good luck.

I would not worry too much, thinking it was only you Tarik. The Algerian post takes about 1,5 for letters and smaller letter sized packages even longer. Anything bigger, I would not even chance sending since it would most likely be stolen. For important documents, I would suggest using services like UPS, DHL or FedEx... but extra money is well worth the security. Bonne chance!

My husband has to bribe the mailman when he is expecting something. He paid the mail guy a few weeks ago to watch out for a package he was waiting to receive. He said the next day the mailman called him and my husband got all excited thinking that he got the package. Instead the mailman was calling him to make chit chat on how he thought it was strange that he still hadn't gotten the package. My husband was TICKED!

My husband is literally camping out at his old flat waiting to receive his packet 4. Luckily our case was listed on their website but still would be nice to have it in writing in his hands. When he goes out he has a friend come and sit in his flat. Sometimes they're ok but I've sent things before that never got there so he's paranoid right now.

When my husband's parents had a home in Sale, things went relatively smoothly. Since they moved to Kenitra, mail delivery is spotty, at best, and takes forever. Seems that no one is sure what the name of the street is. To be fair, I should add that the USPS sent some of my mail to France (!) instead of Morocco. I have no idea why. I've never had these kinds of problems in Agadir.

Same thing happened to me. Seems they put in the number code for Monaco and now when I mail I always double check with them before paying. Monaco, Morocco...<<<<shakes head>>>>>
