Hey there. I got the Tier 2 callback today and they said sometimes it can take up to 30 days to see an update from the interviewing IO. They lodged a request for an update (that will be sent to that IO) who will then have 15 days to respond. I'm hoping this will shake something loose!

Hi, thank you for getting back to me. That sounds great. Hopefully you can receive update soon. Let me know if you get any update. I'm currently waiting for a call back.

For sure - keep me posted on your case too. Someone on reddit told me that they submitted a "case inquiry" and their status changed to "Case Approved" within 24hrs. So I may try that next if this doesn't move the needle.

Still no movement on my case 22 days after the interview. I submitted a case inquiry via a Tier 2 officer and got this back yesterday - "USCIS records indicate your case is pending review by an Immigrations Services Officer at this time.  We regret that we cannot provide a timeframe for completing the review.  We will mail you a notice when or if any action is required.  Please use the links listed below for any updates in your case."...

I guess all I can do is wait now.

Not that we are planning but What happens if we travel overseas without green cards? And cards come later? Can we come back in?

Do you have a combo card or advanced parole?

Nope. However, I am sure it will take another 4-8 months to apply and receive one

If you leave the country without advance parole before you receive a green card then your application will be considered abandoned by USCIS.
