Hi all,

Well we flew to Dallas last week and were expecting to activate my Visa (and give the super-secret envelope) when we arrived at DFW. Apparently we were supposed to do that at Customs in Canada BEFORE we left....so we wandered around DFW airport for 2 hours Thursday night at like 11pm trying to get to customs to get them to stamp my passport and take this damn envelope....finally we found immigration and they said that because we were coming from Canada it's not considered "international" and they couldn't do it. So we had to go to this seperate immigration office in Irving, Texas to have it done. So we've been tied up with what we actually came here for - work stuff and house shopping etc...we finally got a chance this morning to go and get it done. It was great, no line, no hassel, just 15 minutes with a immigration officer, he stamped my passport, cracked opne the super-secret envelope, and made me sign a couple places and took my finger prints and we were on our way! Wooooo hoooooo finally it's all DONE! I was so nervous carrying this stupid envelope around, and am super happy to have it all done. By the way...the contents of that envelope are all the docs you submitted to Montreal (or wherever), plus the pictures you gave them, the criminal background check, the medical, all that stuff - all the originals. So yeah if you lose that sucker - good luck. My advice - guard it with your life!

For other good news, we've found a house and should moving the first week of August! It's soo great that things are finally falling in to place!

Anyways, just thought I'd pass that all along!
