Hi, my conditional green card is about to expire in 2 months and I sent in my I-751 a few weeks back. No NOA yet. My employer asked that I sent them a copy of my green card once it's renewed but as I understand, green card holders do not need to verify their status even after their green cards expire:

"Reverification is never required for U.S. citizens or noncitizen nationals. Reverification is also never required when the following documents expire: U.S. passports, U.S. passport cards, Form I-551 (Alien Registration Receipt Cards/Permanent Resident Cards, which are also known as Green Cards), and List B documents."

- USCIS

Am I right in interpreting the above? Do I need to send them my NOA when I receive it? I would prefer to not send them anything else.

No need to reverify.  If they insist, and you don't feel like explaining to them,  fill a new i-9 with your driver's licence and ssn card.

Otherwise, refer them to the i-9 employer's guide. There's even a help line for them...

If they're the acrimonious kind, keep communication in writing.
