in i130 page 8 part 4 item 61a

"The beneficiary is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in: ____"

does this mean you can choose the office? can I put Albany instead of New York?

also, on page 1, upper right corner it says the form expires 02/28/21, which is already passed.

if this form is expired why isn't there a new form on the uscis website?

Thanks in advance

Yes, you can choose a field office but only based on your zip code.  Each office is assigned jurisdiction based on it.

OMB expiration date is meaningless.   They go by edition date located in bottom left corner.   The main page for the form has the current edition they are using

thanks!

so since there's only one field office responsible for my zipcode I don't really have a choice 😄

yep! this is the form they have on the main page even though it is technically expired if you go by that date 😄

It isn't literally or technically expired.  They go be EDITION DATE.

Go to the i130 page and scroll down.

Click on EDITION DATE.  It will read that the current edition is dated 02/13/19. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the form and instructions.
