Hi , greetings to everyone, I applied for my mom for green card in  May 2019 and her documents were accepted Feb 2020. So after lockdown of 2020 to present,  am wondering if she will be scheduled for an interview when the embassy opens after March of 2021 or do I have to reapply?

Do not reapply.

Your mother's case is waiting at the NVC for an available interview slot.  Last year, there were about 70,000 cases waiting for interviews at the NVC.  There are now over 470,000 cases at the NVC.  It will take time for your mother's case to work its way through the backlog.   It could be a few months or it could be longer depending on when consular posts are back at full capacity.  Some posts are still in lockdown because of local COVID conditions.

If your mother's case goes beyond the tax deadline, you will want to get your 2020 tax transcript and update the I-864.

Thank you so much. I wish to know if when my mom is scheduled for interview can she go with the updated tax transcripts or how do I go about the I-864 update?
