due to financial circumstances I and my husband decided it would be best to postpone my college, I applied for AOS september 2020 and I all i have received from USCIS is my receipts, I am still waiting to take my biometrics. My college has currently written to me regarding terminating my F1 status, I want to know if terminating my F1 status will affect my AOS or will i still be legally allow to be in US. please your feedback will be appreciated.

Once you have filed a proper I-485, you are granted authorized stay in the US until a decision has been made regarding said I-485.  I don't see any effect.

That is incorrect. Even those married to LPR can still complete adjustment of status even if the I-94 expired after I-485 was filed. What matters is that the applicant was in a lawful immigration status at the time of I-485 filing: https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-7-part-b-chapter-3
