Hello everyone,

first post here, our K1 Visa application status now says "Ready", last update was Nov 23. I am now gathering the docs for the Packet 3.

But the question is the NOA2 was valid until March 23,2020 which is long passed. And with Covid and all the closures / lockdowns, many documents were impossible to procure (I need all my original docs from Morocco). Thing is now me and my Fiancée have no idea if the whole petition is expired and we should just restart the process (we don't mind to restart it), or do we continue with it as long as it says "Ready" ?

Thank you very much in advance

Thank you for your answer, it's quite a relief to hear that. So shall i just go ahead and send them the P3 documents ?

If they are operating, you can start ds-160 and working on the civil and supporting docs.

If allowed do the ds 160 but 2 criminal reports are required and one of them expires in 90 days (I think that it is the driving record ) and you can't schedule medical until the paper comes from embassy to do so

  • Police certificate (fiche anthropometrique) and English translation
  • Court record (casier judiciare) and English translation

anyway,  case still in NVC and there is a long line of interviews ahead of you already in Casa

you are really looking at interview perhaps after April 15th so get that 2020 IRS tax return done ASAP

good news is Casa has done some Spouse interviews and scheduled a few and are approving several that have been  in AP

100 CR1's ,  130 IR1's and 4 K1's approved in October
