Hi,

My fiance has applied for the K1 visa, and we are trying to apply for his parents' B1/B2 visas to attend the wedding. They live in Bahrain (~30 years) but are citizens of India. Few questions:

1. How can we apply for them together? Are (2) DS160 forms needed? Do we pay the fees together/book appointment together?

2. My fiance's father recently retired. His mother is still working. Is there any detriment to them getting the visa because he is retired?

Many thanks in advance!!

1. You can’t apply “together”, it is separate forms and separate fees, but you should be able to schedule them the appointment together. Also, you don’t apply for them, they apply for themselves.

2. They will need to show convincing ties of where they are resident to be granted visas. Being retired is not a dealbreaker, the totality of the circumstances matter.
