I'm hoping that all the people with RFE's, will finally be approved soon!!!!! The wait is much too long already and then to receive RFE at approval time is in very poor taste. These problems, like using black ink instead of blue on forms, could have been taking care of much sooner!!!!

I called USCIS yesterday (CSC) and was told that my petition as been assigned to an immigration officer. I was told that I should have some response within 2 weeks, depending on that particular official's work load. My petition was later "touched," presumably because of my phone call.

Well, it's nice to know that at least my petition is no longer just sitting on the shelf gathering dust. Joy and I are on pins and needles, hoping and praying for a speedy approval. I took great pains to make sure my I-129F package was well organized, indexed, hole-punched at the top, and overwhelmingly complete with tons of evidence and support. Hopefully that will pay off and there will be no RFE.

The RFE we got on the 31st was really depressing. It should have been our day for approval. I just hope that it is something simple. If it is, then I will be asking our attorney why it got past him. We did all the paperwork, his main purpose was to check it all over and send it in.

I hope to get it tomorrow...then we will know. It's the waiting that sucks. We are almost at day 150, and now this is going to add another 20 at least.

I'm sure it isn't a big deal. I answered no on the IMBRA question even though I met my love on yahoo. I called the USCIS and they said since I didn't pay any money it wasn't considered a broker. When you brought that idea up you had me worried about a RFE. I decided I would rather know someone was working on it. The only thing that would slow this down is if they need something from your fiancé. God bless and good luck.. I am sure it will work out fine and quickly.

God bless

Tim

Any approvals today?

Hi sunshinegirl!

Well, we hope soon we can write in this board "We are approved"

On November 12 will be 6 months that we got the NOA1 and since then just a touch on August, that has been all for us unfortunately.

I think we will wait couple of days more, but if nothing comes after so long waiting, i think we will do something else... again with the congressman.

I don't understand that immigration system they have, it is a total disorder, no wonder there is so much disappointment.

Congratulations to all approved!
