Anyone heard anything back from June filings? I'm still waiting (filed June 6 2020)

Filed June 22nd and still no change. Only listed as "received".

I am just a little confused that the expected processing time isn't being adjusted.

Ok so processing times have no been updated to 4.5 - 6.5 months.

Goal posts keep moving.

With a filing date of June 22nd,  we are now past the "normal processing times" for the 3rd time.

Since we have to wait 30 days to file a service request again, I guess we'll send an inquiry some time in January for the 3rd time.

Makes one wonder why they even have these "normal processing times" estimations?

They seem completely arbitrary and pointless if they are based on data that is months old.

Any updates? I'm still waiting but heard about someone who filed the last week in May and heard last week so have my fingers crossed.

No, not yet... we are filing the 3rd inquiry today.

I'll make sure to post here when we hear anything but at this point, we aren't holding our breath....

I have my fingers crossed for you. I'm starting to get the E3 paperwork ready for a fresh application outside the US and trying to figure out which embassy and what flights I need as a backup. USCIS still haven't started processing my case according to my lawyer so looking into other options seems like the right thing to do.

Are you going to Australia or thinking about another consulate?

My wife has an appointment scheduled in Sydney for early March. But we are very nervous about the consulate route given the hassle of travel, the reduced quota of people allowed into AUS, the likelihood of cancelled appointments/flights and the mandatory hotel quarantine.

Also, if you do leave the US while your case is pending with USCIS, it will be considered abandoned.

So hopefully it comes through before she has to book flights and would be gone for 1-2 months.

Looking into Mexico but likely Australia. The challenge with Australia, as you mention, is the hassle of travel, quarantine, risk of rules changing etc. There's no good option here which is so frustrating.

Will keep you updated as things progress.

Any news on your plan?
No movement n our side and we have now passed the 7 month mark... A trip out of the country starts to look more likely considering the huge infuriating disappointment USCIS has been.
