Just a couple of questions before submitting

Hey guys 

 

Almost about to submit my n-400 application online under the 3 year rule and had a final few questions. 

 

1.) Did any of you submit a cover letter along with the application. I remember making a detailed cover letter for my previous visa dealings but somehow I cant seem to find a consensus that it is required or needed.

 

2.) I am being asked to submit Evidence about child support. I have just one child who lives with me. Is that a standard question. I was under the impression that the online form is a smart form which only asks for relevant data ( I am hoping I didn't click that my child doesn't live with me)

I've never done a cover letter throughout my entire immigration journey and I just had my citizenship interview. Never had any issues or RFE as a result. So, I would say no to the cover letter. 

Cateogory: CR1

  • NOA1/Notice of receipt: Sept. 15, 2015
  • NOA2/I130 Approved: February 8, 2016 (NO RFE) :)
  • Process slowed down by us
  • Sent documents to NVC: April 11, 2016
  • Scan date: April 14/ May 7th (NVC said both I dont know why)
  • Case Complete: May 31, 2016 (No checklist) :dancing:

August 17, 2016: Visa Approved!!!! :dancing:
