@3naD I'm in batangas. I suggest you schedule the medical then email them when it's done. Allow 3 business before you follow up. This is based on my experience. I'm just sharing for others to know. No harm in asking. I've been asking USCIS then NVC then Embassy. They all approved my case. Goodluck. Let me know how it goes.

@ronh I did her online slec registration and mail it to them via UPS express.

@3naD it's 2 weeks after the completion of medical. I thought it will be quick because its expedited. The fact that they approved it the interview is just formality I think. As long as medical is good.

Thank you so much for this info! Super helpful! Will most probably email them on Monday. Really hoping to get the interview scheduled soon because I'm trying to meet the deadline for the State Bar examination.

Thank you! I actually completed my medical exam 5 days ago. 😊 so I’ll email USEM to advise them - like you did. Hopefully I get scheduled for an interview too a few days after my email.  🤞🏻

Is it possible to get a medical done without an official visa interview letter (with appointment date) from the embassy? A visa interview letter is required according to: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/MNL-Manila.html#pre_interview_checklist

same question for me

same question for me

In our case, I called SLEC and I advised them that I don't have an appointment date/interview letter, but our request for expedited processing was already approved. They allowed me to schedule and proceed with my medical examination , and in place of the interview letter, I was asked to present the email from the NVC regarding the approval of the expedite request.

My wife sent them an email and this is what SLEC said:

Normally, Visa Interview Letter with case number from the NVC or Visa Appointment Confirmation from the US Embassy with the interview date is presented to us during the medical examination.

However it is your discretion to have the medical examination without the appointment letter, for as long as you know your case number and visa preference category.

You may also bring the letter that was sent to you by the US Embassy for our reference.

Just checked CEAC for case status; my wife says ready but my son still say at NVC although both were expedited together.  I will wait till the end of the week to look for an updated status, if not, I will try this to see if I can get both physicals completed at the same time.

Hi, can you give me the SLEC email address please. My son expedited processing is approved on 9/16 and status is ready, still waiting for the interview appointment letter from the US embassy. Goodluck to all of us.

Has anyone been successful getting their physicals and interview scheduled from this thread recently without an initial interview letter to show slec to start?

user RandR16 did

"Hello all, I just want to share as I'm on the same boat. Expedite request approved. so i scheduled my daughter's medical and email embassy when she's done. Embassy get back to me after 3 business days with interview scheduled date. Though st.lukes used to have 1day medical process for minor, now it takes 2 days. Then if your child has colds and cough you can't finish the medical. "

My wife is going to St Luke's this week without an interview letter.

Does his CEAC status say the Case is Currently At "Ready" or "Manila"?  My wife got her interview expedite request approved 9 days ago which caused CEAC to change status from At "NVC" to "Manila". Is it advisable to travel to Manila for the medical while the status reads "Manila" and no interview date has been assigned yet?
