Whaoo!.

It took almost 3 years for your case to get approval?  Why was that?

Its been a very long wait. It started with the service centre our case was and then there was DNA request which took almost 8months to get to our turn and then CSPA, then there's Trump ban and now we have Covid. Its been a crazy one actually. I just really hope for the best at this time

Will the consulate schedule any f2a interview given the visa ban by Trump?  I think they will not schedule any interview as long as the visa ban is still in place. Correct me if I am wrong, thanks

That's my understanding, they appear to be processing as far along as they can but won't schedule interviews until Jan 2021, assuming of course, that Trump doesn't extend it beyond that. Hopefully he doesn't!

Yeah, its actually confusing and no one really knows what's what. But if no interview is held, how will the Consulate know if the person deserves a waiver? Because the ban do have the exception for waivers to those who may qualify.....🤷🏽‍♀️
