Our (artificial) tree went up today, following a week of me telling the asawa that we needed to at least wait for the ber months. I wish I could get as excited about anything as much as she gets about Christmas.

I sent my step-daughter a "Merry Christmas" text this morning.  She was confused on how did I know that it was the start of the Christmas season.

 

I know well enough to put the Christmas decorations one foot higher than my 4'11" plus a ladder height so they stay up there until after Thanksgiving....

I am waiting another month and gonna put out my Halloween spread, still too hot here.  Halloween will be on a Saturday this time,  I suspect there will be many parties going on Saturday Night.

 

Philippines celebration for their version doesn't hold a candle to how we celebrate in the USA.  Super boring there when they do their All Souls Day.
