"Other names used" on K1 visa form

Hi everyone! I just want to confirm if it's ok to put a nickname on "other names used" section on the K1 visa form. For example, my name is Flordelis and everyone calls me "Flor". Thanks in advance for those who can answer. 😊

Add your other name to the application. Always take the forms and instructions literally. Be honest with your answers whether it's a form or an interview. Good luck and stay engaged.

No, this is for legally names like if somebody had other last names or change the name.

It's not "how others call you".

No, your answer is incorrect. The instructions state the following:

 

Item Numbers 7.a. - 7.c. Other Names Used. Provide any other names you have used including your aliases, maiden name, and nicknames. If you have used additional names, provide them in Part 8. Additional Information.
