Partial or full tax return as evidence?

I was just looking at the sample I-751 cover letter on Visa Journey and noticed it listed as evidence a partial copy of a joint US tax return. Do you send the whole return or is there just a certain part they want to see? Also, does it need to be a tax transcript or is just the copy of the return sent to me from the accountant OK?

We sent transcripts. They aren't even evaluating the numbers or anything....that has no role in the process. They just want to verify that you each filed as married.

If you are sending your return, you send ALL pages, plus copies of your W-2 and any other 1099s.

 

If you are sending Tax Transcripts, you just send a copy of the transcript.  No need for any W-2, etc.
