k1 visa processing?

Just curious, with the immigration ban in effect for so many other visa types does that mean USCIS has shifted their focus to those they can process in the mean time? do we have any idea's on time frames for k1?  Thanks!

USCIS is still processing petitions regardless of the bans and whatnot. Visa processing is being affected. I believe only expedited are really being looked at for the time being until consulates decide to process other visas. 

 

Current timeframe per USCIS for K1 is 5-7 months.

What @Solaris81 stated is correct - at USCIS stage, everything is being processed. The halt only comes into effect once a case reaches the embassy/interview stage.

Due to backlogs of over 4 months (and most embassies not being fully open yet), and spouse/child of USC being the only category considered mission critical, it's probably almost safe to assume that the CR1/IR1 & CR2/IR2 backlog will be worked through before the embassies schedule any other categories (except student visas, which are time sensitive).
