Does prior marriages and divorces hold this up? I would think they'd just do the name checks on each name, make sure the documents are in order and are done with it. If its an issue....Im in trouble.....

I'm not positive, but I believe they do check all names.

Yes they do check all names/aliases for the petitioner and beneficiary. What you are showing with the I-129f petition is that both you and your fiance are free to marry and that you have met in the last 2 years. So long as you can provide documentation supporting both of those assertions, and have a "clean" background, your petition will be approved. Depending on your circumstances, you may be subject to greater scrutiny at the consular level. Getting a petition approved is pretty easy, if time consuming. The actual visa can be more difficult if you are involved with someone from what is considered to be a "high fraud post" or have other red flags (see Bill y Bella's siggie for a link to common red flags). Just make sure you are well prepared with documentation showing you have a valid relationship and odds are you will be OK.

As long as you have the correct information I guess we will be fine. I submitted my divorce papers, etc.

Ok here we go...

JFK - Damascus 12feb- 04mar is coming out at about $933 a person (and that was for 3 people, with a stop in Amman)

JFK-CVG 23DEC - 26DEC is coming out at about $320. If you want to fly Xmas Eve, it gets in about 7pm and it's $300

Nothing is cheap around Christmas :( :(

I paid $900 to fly to London 12/22 to 1/2. Ridiculous! By the way, Virgin Airways rocks and so does London Heathrow airport!

Haha...i agree with Virgin, I did a semester in London and flew over there on that and it's amazing! They give you so much food and they are so nice!

p.s. StillthePrettiest....this is actually Ashley. The account is listed under my fiance's name, but I'm actually the American one!

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

it's this terrible habit I have of going by people's names ;)

My theory is that they will push it to that limit of close to 60 days so I'd hope you'd have your NOA2 by the start of December...you are close. I also think that most adjudicators started a new work week yesterday with fairly clean desks, but after today we will see a pick up. One day last week we had no approvals, then suddenly a flood. So I anticipate they will flood us before the week is out. God willing. Just a guess.

I noticed CSC hasn't had any since being back from the 3 day weekend either...Im sure both are just gearing up. Im sure they are approving....just not anyone from VJ these last two days...it will come...God Willing

armssnowangel, yours words in God's ears!

Its my prayer you find you approval soon. And yes, your baby is worth it. I told my SO...that in 10 years, this will not matter. I try to look at life that way...I have panic attacks and I deal with them by positive thinking....my question is..."Will this issue/incident/problem make a difference to me in 5 years?" If not...then I dont worry...If Yes, then I do something about it if I can. More than anything, I take time to crawl into the lap of God and let HIM hold me...let HIM take my pain...let HIM do my worry.

James 1:2-8

2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; (also meaning problems, tempations, ect)

3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be aperfect (Complete) and entire, wanting nothing.

5 If any of you lack bwisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (this is a PROMISE OF GOD)

6 But let him ask in bfaith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

8 A adouble minded man is unstable in all his ways.

c

I hope these words will encourage, lift up and inspire. God bless us all as we wait upon His timing in our lives. May we learn patience and perserverance so that we may feel complete in our lives.

They prioritize work-related employment visas before family visas. They have 2 months to approve work visas but have unlimited time to approve family viasas. They are promoting a 6 moth waiting time as of today, but they can change this whenever they want with minimal to zero consequence.
