You should expect 2 letters. One biometrics appointment and the other that explicitly says your status is extended for a year. I got them within a couple of days.

About Saturday I can't help you. Not sure if they work on saturdays.

I'd also try to just walk in and get it done. Maybe you'll be lucky and they let you do it!

I'm still waiting for my appointment letter and as soon as I have that I will run over to the ASC to try and get in the door. :)

I am amazed at how short the lines at our local ASC have been over the last year. I've been doing an internship in the same building as the ASC so had frequent opportunity to observe people lining up for the biometrics. While before the lines tended to wrap around the building and you never could get any parking, now it's only a handful of people at the most gathering in front of the door and there is plenty of parking available. Probably because they shifted half of Virginia immigrants to be processed via Norfolk.

Yes, they work on Saturdays... Usually Tuesday to Saturday...

And the biometrics letter and the NOA are two different things. Anticipate getting your NOA extending your ststus in the next few days. We got our biometrics letter two days before we got the NOA for the I-751.

Every place is very different....the one I was sent to in Boston had in my ASC letter that I could reschedule by mailing it back, for either a Wednesday afternoon or a Saturday morning. From the sounds of it, some other agencies are just drop-ins/open all week.

The ASC I went to was open on Saturdays - I had my biometrics on a Saturday also. I'm surprised the customer service rep couldn't check online if the ASC is open, but there is a reason we call them a "misinformation line" after all...
