I had a post here years ago ( cant find it ) about my friend that i was helping applying for n400. She had 2 ASSAULT/BATTERY that happened the same year ((she went to jail twice & case closed). And that was more than 5 years ago when she applied. Believe it or not, one of the incident she badly beaten to death  2 smart ### (speaking of!!!) United States Citizens born here in their own home LOL... Yes shes an ASIAN WOMAN and she is my close friend.

Thogh i know, its all more than 5 years ago for me and im clean since then, i want to collect info if anyone recently got n400 interview approved with dismissed criminal charges.?

Can you please clarify what you mean by 'dismissed'? Different courts use different wordings but generally speaking the term dismissed means the case is simply over. It can be dismissed/you were found guilty, or dismissed/you were found guilty, or dismissed/they drop the case against you, etc etc. Or you may be in a place where they do something like making you go to anger management classes/probation period and then they dismiss it. If you could provide details like which state and what the official disposition is it would be helpful. Generally anything prior to the 5 yr period is not going to be an issue for approval but there may still be questions about it and if you want advice on that you need to provide more information about the exact wording besides just saying it was dismissed.

This incident happened when we were in Salt Lake City. Yes I had to go through family relations counseling and after few weeks they dismissed it. It happens about 5 + years ago

Seems as if they did impose some kind of punishment on you then dismissed it, the fact that you had to do counselling . So for immigration purposes you may have a conviction. Personally I think you are fine to apply, but I would recommend a lawyer to attend the interview with you so that they wont harass you with questions to try and trip you up.
