Hey guys, wanted to clarify. Is there actually any fee when you go to your interview at the US Embassy? Spousal visa CR-1, country Russian Federation.

There's no fee if you went through NVC process and paid all your fees there.

 

If you expedited and bypassed NVC entirely, then there is.

Don't forget to pay the $220 Green card fee online after the interview.

Haven’t we paid it in advance to the USCIS when filing the I-130 form?

No...It is a separate fee....You must pay it after the interview.  The new immigrant will not receive a plastic green card until he/she has entered the US AND the $220 fee has been paid.  It can be paid either before or after entering the US....however, a plastic green card will not be issued until the $220 fee has been paid.  Most people pay it immediately after the interview.
