I'm also interested in this topic. I'm considering taking a two week trip to a neutral country with my fiance then coming here to America.  I'm open to suggestions. We've already traveled through much of south America this year. My contacts in Ecuador, Columbia, Brasil , Peru and Argentina all  think say " the virus  is over reported here" where they live but "it sounds like Armageddon in your country".   Half the people we traveled with tested positive yet none had any major symptoms... it's  really quite strange.    The news and political agendas are making it difficult to gauge the severity of this virus.

I think it's foolish to ridicule your president not taking the virus seriously out of one side of your mouth while complaining about the travel ban out of the other.  You can't have it both ways. If you think your president is so awful volunteer to postpone your own visa process in leu of permanent self quarantine.      I personally think they should let people under the age of 60 make up their own minds/ risk valuations .  In  The US the virus is killing people who are older than the average life expectancy. Out of those  95 percent have serious underlying conditions. I'm not a fan of my president but he is less wrong than his opponents.   Of course the virus decimated the sick and elderly in Italy. So we need to use caution.

It's quite possible those who have been expressing disdain for the draconian lockup measures, will eventually be vindicated.  The hatred for Bolsonaro  reminds me of the far right people in the USA who hated Obama. They will push average people to re elect him. Haha

I personally don't think there are any good choices when it comes to politics.  To vote for a jerk who everyone agrees  is a jerk is often preferable to chosing a warm hearted thug who's a wolf in sheep's clothing. To suggest there are these wonderful alternatives to our current presidents is  denying reality.   But I digress.    It's best to leave political speaches to other forums.   Onward and upward.
