Unless there is a medical or religious reason to do so, there is no real good reason to get circumsized.

There is a slighly higher chance of certian conditions, but not enough to really justify the pain of the procedure. Yes it does keep bacteria, but so does the rest of your body. Alot of bacteria is actually needed by your body. Especially with digestion.

:P I was refering to other bacteria in the digestive tract. Most bacteria is harmless. And some actually helps with bodily functions including digestion.

Part of the reason why polio rose to promience in the 40's and 50's was our obsession with being clean. We took away what was actually helping us resist polio.

Im not suggesting, becomming a slob and living a very dirty life, But living a anti-bacteria live isnt that good either.

by the time they grow i really think no man remembers the pain of circumcision.. on the other hand.. when ur 20 something and get circumcized, now theres a pain u remember...and again, there's still a social stigma to uncircumcized boys... ask girls or locker rooms lol.. if u want people to make fun of ur kids uncut #######, go ahead, i passed through that, and i dont want my boy to live it like i did

My husband isn't circumcised (but has threatened to for some reason...no medical reason) and my sons won't be.

I like his foreskin, actually.
