Hey guys. Planning to fly from NY to TX. I'm an international (Canadian) student on a F1 visa. I currently have my EAD + advanced parole and i'm at the "waiting for interview" process for my green card.

Can i safely fly? What documents would they ask for? I have a NY driver's license (class D - says Temp. Visitor on it) and i have my Canadian passport. Do i need to show my EAD/Advanced parole etc. like i would if i were to cross the border by car? Can i just show my Canadian passport?

Thanks in advance!

I would use your passport to fly, doesnt sound like the driver's license is REAL ID compliant.

REAL ID enforcement has been pushed back even beyond it's October deadline and NY is a compliant state. But, yes, I'd carry my Canadian passport anyway plus the EAD and AP (which fits in your wallet). Show the DL and if asked for more, throw the (proverbial) kitchen sink at TSA.

Welcome to Texas :)

NY is a compliant state but like Colorado they issue non-compliant driver licenses to temporary and non-legal alien that may or may not be used as ID (in Co they are not allowed.) OP has their F1 visa in their passport. EAD/AP can also be used.  OP should also bring marriage license (if changing name and EAD/AP is different than passport) and NOA1.  That would be the kitchen sink. LOL. But really the ead/ap card or passport itself should be more than fine.

I've never had an issue flying within the US with a Canadian passport as my ID.

If traveling soon, be prepared to self quarantine for 14 days upon arrival. Texas DPS will greet you at the airport to obtain the necessary documentation. You can fill it out ahead of time at the link below;
