I hope this is the right forum to ask this question.

The i-130 got approved. (yay!)

The email with the NVC Case Number and Invoice ID Number was sent to me and my spouse.  She made a mistake when I asked her what email she wanted me to put on the i-130.  She left out a period in her email address.   For example if her actual email is deepdishpizza.410@fakeemail.com she told me it was deepdishpizza410@fakeemail.com.  Luckily they sent a copy of this important email to me too, otherwise we would have been in limbo.

Do you suggest I contact the NVC about this or just have her create that new email address without the period?  OR when first logging into the CEAC, is she able to make a new login with the correct email and this is all easily fixable?

Thanks in advance guys.

I’m not sure if you can change email addresses on the CEAC site .. I don’t think you  can .. but you can call the NVC # and make the changes directly with a Tier 1 operator .. the one who answers your call .. no need for Tier 2 ( supervisor)

You don't have to contact the NVC OR create a new email address as you will be able to change the email address easily on the CEAC site. When logging into the CEAC, click on edit email then you can enter the correct email.

Good news and thanks for the reply.

Theoretically, can I do this initial account creation and email change for her?  I don't see why I couldn't.
