Noticed that many ppl are active here until they get their visa, so there is fewer responses that show the brighter side. Here is our story:

Interview: 6Feb2019

Asked for more proof of marital relationship.

We sent about 60 more pics, joint tax return, wedding cards, 1-2 affidavits from relatives who attended our marriage, wedding reception bills.

Status update was within 2 days of sending those documents, but only a date change.

Then on, they kept on changing the last updated date every Tuesday night, in our case.

3 weeks later, I sent another affidavit given by my father who is a US citizen and attended all our wedding events, attached some pics of him with both of us at the events and at our home.

They did review this too, as I learnt later on. We mailed this to the embasst address directly via TCS, and not AEG.

17 March, the visa status changed to Administrative Processing

30 Mar: Visa status changed to ISSUED.

I did have my senator's office send Islamabad embassy aome queries, and that apparently helped, as all status changes correlated with the dates the senator's office got in touch with them about my case.

Hang tight guys, it will come.

My apologies. Interview was 6 feb 2020. Visa issued 30 mar 2020

No problem! Thanks for this info. My wife has been in Admin Review also, since Dec31-2019. They wanted additional tax and photos as well. I was told to upload it to CEAC website , and I did it the same day, they promised us Visa in 2 weeks but nothing changed. I've also went to the Congress representative, and then they responded to congress rep. saying EMBASSY RECIEVED THE FILES ON FEB26 2020 and waiting to be reviewed.

But bright side is, they gave you Visa on March 30 2020, means despite corona virus, they are working on Admin Process cases.

I hope my wife gets cleared too, this month. And I had islamabad embassy also.

Congrats on getting the VIsa : ) ... my fiance had her interview in Islamabad on March 3rd and on the day of the interview we did not have the medical report.  So on the 5th of March we sent the embassy the medical report but we still have not received any email and it still shows refused. March 18 was the last day the date changed on Ceac.

The CO did tell my fiance that once they receive the medical report they will issue the Visa.  They kept her passport.

What should I do ? Do I email the embassy?

Involve the senator office?

Another option would be to call them when the lockdown in Pakistan is lifted and have them elaborate on the status. The guys on the phone once suggested to me that they could ask the embassy to elaborate on the status and they respond in 2 days to that request
