Hi all

we have a joint sponsor whose current annual income meets the requirements but last year was not enough due to an injury which prevented them from working although the previous 2 years met the requirements! I wanna add the petitioner met the requirements in the last filed tax year but has taken 2019 off due to remaining abroad with spouse.  Does anyone have input on this should we secure a different sponsor?

Thanks

It depends on the actual details.  The public charge decision is made based on the totality of circumstances.

It appears your education has included an understanding of the word "totalality".
